Not being British I am underawed by the monarchy, but I do appreciate the traditions and panoply. I simply do not believe that one’s parentage ennobles one or endows one with the right or tools to rule anyone. That includes economic parentage or entertainment parentage or political parentage or whatever. If the British wish a monarchy, they should have it….and celebrate it. I do not. I did very much enjoy your writing, though, it is always well thought out and expressed.

Thanks for the nice comment! What do you think of what Lewis said about how we are all crowned?
