Today is Day 1 of the L.M. Montgomery & Vision Forum–the virtual space for the 2020 L.M. Montgomery conference. The “2020 Vision Forum” is now open here. Today and through the week there will be scholarly presentations, creative projects, information on the L.M. Montgomery Institute and Montgomery-related projects, and virtual fun and camaraderie. One of the activities in the Vision Forum is the launch of the MaudCast: The Podcast of the L.M. Montgomery Institute. This brand new podcast is our quest to discover cutting-edge scholarship about the life and works of Lucy Maud Montgomery, welcoming to the microphone leading academics, emerging scholars, local researchers, and imaginative readers and writers from around the world.

I am pleased to be the MaudCast host–an entirely new experience for me! We released the teaser last week, and today is the release of S01E01: Lesley Clement, Launch of the Vision Forum. Here the LMMI Visiting Scholar Dr. Lesley Clement casts here vision for the “Vision Forum,” and shares a bit about her work as a scholar and some of her experiences as a reader.
